How it works

From the truck to the drill in four steps.

    Pick the vehicle

Search by make and model, or start from a photo of the headliner and NovaMaster fits the shape and sunroof.

  2. 2

Add the kit and the logo

Type the star count off the box. Upload the client's logo, type their name, or choose from the library.

  3. 3

    Show the client

The stars twinkle on screen. Send a link they open on their phone, or a video they can share.

  4. 4

    Print and drill

Full-size templates on your printer or a plotter, mirrored for the back of the board, every hole numbered.

Three steps.
One headliner.

From the kit on your bench to holes in the board, without a Sharpie in sight.

Photo mode

Start from a photo of the real headliner.

Then the stars go on
  • 1Shoot the board from above, or straight up from a seat.
  • 2Auto-fit finds the outline and the sunroof and shapes the design to match.
  • 3Lay the stars out right on the photo, then show the client their own headliner lit up.

Sunroofs and shooting stars

The moonroof is cut in. The shooting stars place themselves.

  • Pick the trim and roof, and its moonroof or panoramic glass is cut out with room for the trim.
  • Shooting stars land in the open sky. Drag them, bend them into an arc, and change how many holes each one lights.
  • The template numbers every shooting-star hole by port, so the wiring goes in right the first time.

The design library

800+ designs, already drawn in stars.

Constellations, flags, animals, western, crests, street signs and more. Tap or hover one to light it up; drop it on a headliner and size it to fit.

Questions? Answers.

Do I need the exact size of the headliner?

Not to start. Makers don't publish headliner sizes, so vehicle sizes come from parts listings or are estimated from cab and body specs, which is close enough to design and sell the job. When the board is out, measure its length and both widths, type them in, and the template prints to the real size.

Which kits does it work with?

Any kit. Type the star count, the fiber sizes and how many shooting stars and holes each, straight off the box. Every hole in the layout is a strand in your kit.

I mark the back of the board. Does that work?

Yes. Templates print mirrored for the back of the board by default, and you can switch to the fabric side in Settings.

How many pages does a template print?

You choose. Logo and section map prints only the logo and shooting stars at full size, plus a map with a star count for each 12-inch square that you dot freehand. Full puzzle prints every hole on numbered sheets you tape together. One big sheet goes to a print shop's plotter.

Can I use the client's own logo?

Yes. Upload it (a PNG with a transparent background traces cleanest), or type their name in any of 26 fonts with your own letter and line spacing.

Does it work on my phone and iPad?

Yes. NovaMaster runs in the browser on iPhone, iPad, Android and any computer, with a layout built for each screen.

How much does it cost?

Basic is $199 a year to design and show the animated preview. Pro is $297 a year and adds drilling templates, video downloads and client preview links, with $129 a year for each extra person. Team is $699 a year for five people, then $49 each. Every plan is billed yearly.
